The Southwest Saskatchewan Immigration Partnership played an active role in the conference hosted by Southwest Community Futures on October 2nd, 2024. As part of the event, the SSIP coordinated a panel of discussion designed for immigrants in the region. Moderated by Deanna Baje, the Executive Director of Southwest Newcomer Welcome Centre, the session provided a platform for the SSIP coordinator, Chuka Okeke and Fam Folloso to explore the many benefits of living in Southwest Saskatchewan.  This initiative aimed to foster connections, share meaningful insights, attract new immigrants to the area, and showcase the unique advantages of calling this vibrant region home.
